In depth

Verdict

Despite top weight, Somekindofstar should be capable of going well in a race like this if the cheekpieces have the desired effect. Imperial Elysian didn’t take to fences here in November while Twycross Warrior was only beaten a neck at Warwick a couple of weeks ago, though has been raised 3lb since. SEA STORY (NAP) has done nothing wrong in two starts this campaign and is overdue a hurdles victory. She’s worth another try over a longer trip and it’s a bonus that she’s been dropped a pound since her latest third at Leicester. High Up In The Air followed up a win at Plumpton with a third at Lingfield so can’t be ignored.
