    Verdict

A wide open contest here and the market will prove very informative as to what is expected of the unraced performers but the principals look to be Capitana, Signora Paneettiera and Very Special One and the vote is given to Capitana. The selection hails from a yard that is beginning to hit top form and she was a fair sixth a couple of runs ago, granted she has since disappointed but with her stable back in better form if she ran up to her best she would be hard to beat. Signora Paneettiera rates the main danger as she was a fair sixth on her debut over hurdles behind Mr Dinglawi that form has since been franked and she is another that is sure to have come on on for the run. Very Special One was a fair fourth behind Lady Of Scarvagh last time out and the drop in trip is sure to suit so she should be noted in the market. Annikita is another to have shown a modicum of ability in better races and is another with place claims but she has given the impression she would be seen to better effect over a longer trip and for that reason is opposed. Of the remainder Separated is from a top yard and is another to note in the market but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Capitana.
