      Verdict

      Migwell returned to top form with a gutsy victory over Pardishar, with Carthys Cross back in third. Always prominent, he led from the thirteenth until the last before fighting back on the run in to score by a length and three-quarters. Pardishar was useful hurdler and proved today he is well capable of winning races over fences. Carthys Cross ran up to his best in third and is another who should win races.
