Verdict
Dr Richard Newland has weaved his usual magic with horses new to the stable with recent acquisition, NEVEROWNUP. Bought out of a Fakenham seller, he's delivered stylishly simple victories in his first two starts for the Newland team, one each over hurdles and fences. He cruised home at Fontwell on Sunday over the larger obstacles and looks best followed until beaten despite the impost of the obligatory 7lb penalty. There definitely appears more to come. Theatrelands was progressive in the last three months of 2013 and will be all the better for his Market Rasen reappearance this month over timber. A winner of his only chase, he looks the logical danger. Gandalfe and Orang Outan have place claims but are likely to struggle to handle the aforementioned pair.
