Verdict

Ravenscar, Wayward Melody and Starry Mary are three against the field in a wide open affair and the vote goes to Ravenscar. The selection was a fair fifth in a better race behind Woodenbridge Natif last time and off the same mark here he will be hard to beat. Wayward Melody rates the main danger on his latest third behind Tanterari and with his yard continuing in good form he will not be far away. Starry Mary is another worthy of respect on her second behind Farne Isle a couple of runs ago but she has since disappointed and has yet to win over hurdles so is passed over. Epitre has shown very little of late but does look well weighted on his best form and with his yard beginning to hit form he is another with place claims. Of the remainder White Dove is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but she is very one paced and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Ravenscar
