Major Euro is selected to shrug off topweight and get the better of Rohan and Flower of Pitcur in the final race on the card. Irish point-to-point winner Major Euro has not broken his duck over here yet but has shown ability on more than one occasion. A good second in similar company to this at Worcester in June last year, he should be plenty fit enough now after a couple of outings. While he is no world-beater, the booking of Mick Fitzgerald catches the eye, and he should make a bold bid to open his account. Rohan has shown a glimmer of ability, notably when second at Fontwell in March, but conditions here might find him out. Flower of Pitcur scored on his bumper debut here last season, but has failed to progress since being sent over hurdles. He has started to improve slowly of late though and may be involved in the finish. It is hard to get enthusiastic about most of the others, but Roofing Spirit has a bit of worthwhile form and Sunne Lord comes from a stable doing well at present. It is not a race to get heavily involved in from a financial point of view, but Major Euro gets a narrow vote.
