Verdict
Stuccodor finds himself at the head of the weights after two wins from his last four starts, including last time when obliging over course and distance. He's always been something of a law unto himself but he'll be competitive if he turns up in the same form as the last day. However, a 7lb penalty for that success may just prove a bridge too far and GIN AND TONIC makes more appeal in receipt of a stone and a half. He is also not the most consistent of performers but did well to win last time at Plumpton and is taken to follow up. Hatem finds winning difficult and Hear The Chimes makes more appeal as a shortlist proposition after a series of fair handicap runs. He has conditions in his favour. Mutoondresdashorse is a potential improver on handicap bow after just three runs and his yard is in form. He's the one to check out in the market.
