Verdict

This promises to be a tight betting heat but TEAMtalk preference is for Peccadillo who comes here in top form. Robert Alner's charge has shown steady improvement over birch and can offset a 6lb rise for his latest success over a similar trip at Uttoxeter last time. The son of Un Desperado was having his first run for almost five months and should be sharper for the outing. Lincoln Place has twice disappointed since landing back-to-back wins at Worcester earlier in the season and now has something to prove off a stiff mark while Sulphur Springs may struggle to concede weight all round on his return from a spell on the sidelines. Stanmore is racing from out of the handicap while Donadino is a useful ex-Irish winning chaser who should be noted in the exchanges.
