Verdict
We will side with PATTON to land the finale, although if Max Bygraves goes well in the previous race then that will strengthen the case for Novarra. The selection has progressed well with his racing this year and he only found At The Money too good at Market Rasen last time out. He has yet to get his head in front but he showed enough last time to suggest that his turn would not be far away. Novarra is the obvious alternative as she chased home Max Bygraves at Ludlow last time, form which could be given a boost earlier this evening. She has a poor strike-rate but she is in good heart and she should run her race. Petrus De Sormain has got course and distance winning form, but he didn't see out the trip last time and the return to this more suitable distance could see him in a better light. Massini Moon is not the most fluent hurdler and he has questions to answer at present. He is best watched, and we will return to Patton to finally get his head in front at the 11th time of asking.
