In depth
Verdict
Fortunate Fred is still a maiden but has been a bit unlucky not to have opened his account before now. Chaser Big Changes is having a first run for a new yard after a break while Dillarchie appears to have the lost the plot and Aldsworth is also best watched. Royal Lake ran well twice in the spring after winning at Fontwell so can’t be ignored but he has also switched stables. CATUABA (NAP) led for a long way on his reappearance but a lack of condition told in the closing stages. He’ll strip fitter here and is the one to beat on his win over a similar trip at Warwick in May. Boleyn Boy still seeks a first win but was steadily improving last season.
