        Verdict

        Mohawk Ridge came good at Carlisle last month and carries a penalty for his trouble. That should give the edge to DESOTO COUNTY given Donald McCain's charge was beaten only a head at Haydock on his latest start and is taken to go one better. Rockabilly Riot had a subsequent winner behind when landing a maiden hurdle at Musselburgh in January and can also figure but the remainder are harder to fancy. Bumper winner Spitz may prove best of them as he should have come on for a recent outing over track and trip.
