Verdict
A number of these have solid claims of the best of their form and not too many can be confidently be ruled out. However, Ryalux, who came good in the Scottish National last season, has been found a good test for his reintroduction, which he is narrowly expected to pass after 203 days out of action. The in-form Hallyards Gael and Bodfari Signet are just a couple of the remainder who will make this a true test though, and the selection will not have an easy time of it today. The front-running antics of Fishki's Lad will ensure there is no hanging about, but Ryalux has the capability to pick up off a strong pace and he can swoop late to conquer in a race that looks set to provide a few thrills right up to the line.
