In depth

Verdict

Several are penalised for winning including DONNY BOY, who scored at Newcastle on his hurdling bow. He was in the process of running a respectable race in Grade 2 company here last month when brought down at the last and a bold bid is expected. Fingal's Hill also won at Newcastle recently but has plenty to find with the selection on these terms with Masked Crusader looking a bigger threat having beaten a subsequent winner at Carlisle recently. The more exposed Balkalin may prove best of the rest.
