In depth

Verdict

Silent Bay, Fleetfoot Mac and Totally Scottish are three against the field in a competitive handicap and the narrow vote is given to Silent Bay. The selection won well last time out when beating Lucky Nellerie, enters handicaps off what looks a fair mark and under conditions that suit looks the one to be on. Fleetfoot Mac rates the main danger as he won a handicap chase in good style when beating The Maserati Kid last time out in a chase he is well handicaped back over hurdles and should be watched in the market. Totally Scottish is another that could go well on his best form but he often finds less than expected off the bridle and is taken on with this in mind. Powerlove was second behind Broken Reed last time but consistency is not his strong point while Muckle Flugga has dropped to a handy mark but in a race where few can be ruled out for the winner we return to Silent Bay.
