In depth

Verdict

Garleton gets little respite from the handicapper but Ballyfitz can race off the same mark as when second to Galaxy Rock over 3m4f at Cheltenham and shouldn't be far away. Lockstown won at Newcastle and Carlisle last month but has a penalty to carry here, while Outlaw Tom is 7lb higher than when scoring at Hexham though clearly stays well. Nine De Sivola also has plenty of stamina but is still a maiden after 20 starts over fences and preference is for the less exposed EYRE SQUARE. Keith Reveley won this two years ago and his eight-year-old should find the step up in trip in his favour after running on late over 3m4f at Haydock on his latest start. Beamazed, second at Market Rasen four weeks ago, will also be suited by the longer distance and has each-way claims.
