Verdict
The race won by Ariston Du Plessis at Ayr last month could hold the key to this. TURTLE WATCH (NAP) finished fifth with Peters Grey seventh and Stentorian further behind. Jim Goldie's charge would have finished closer that day had he not made a mess of the final flight on the far side and the rains may have arrived just in time for the seven-year-old, who likes plenty of give in the ground. The consistent Amilliontimes is a danger and Surprise Vendor will guarantee they go a decent gallop - he won on the Flat last month on good to soft going. Politeness only weakened at the last over further when fourth here last month and also warrants a second look.
