August’s Cartmel scorer Nortonthorpelegend recorded back-to-back victories at the turn of the year and has won off higher marks in the past. Prince Dundee has turned into something of a Hexham specialist, however, while Pena Dorada has two ways of running. Damiens Dilemma is still 9lb higher than when winning at Cartmel last summer and the returning Late Date saves his best for Sedgefield. PAKIE’S DREAM is an eight-race maiden having a first run for new connections after just two tries over fences but the Acadio gelding probably has the potential to be better than these.
