Verdict
Gold Des Bois won this a year ago from today's rival Malystic though was completing a double having scored here a couple of weeks earlier. The runner-up made the better progress culminating in a Grade 3 handicap victory at Ayr so has to be a threat to all. Cedar Hill has won five times here and arrives on a double having scored over the track and trip last month. Dubai Days is a prolific winner though has generally needed his opening run in the past but TOMMY'S OSCAR has a very good record fresh and a Grade 2 victory at Doncaster on just his fourth start over fences puts him in the driving seat.
