In depth

Verdict

High Jinx was once a high-class stayer on the Flat, winning the Prix du Cadran in 2014. He was only beaten half-a-length in the Yorkshire Cup around this time last year but is going jumping late in life and wouldn’t want the going to dry out any further. CALIX DELAFAYETTE is also unproven on ground this quick but looked a potentially smart novice when winning over 2m2f here last month and the extra distance is definitely in his favour. Hills Of Connemara ran well behind the odds-on Bob Mahler at Wetherby in March and should find a race in due course while Cathal's Star is worth noting for future reference.
