Verdict

Ross Chapman is good value for his 7lb claim and it’s a massive plus for the penalised GOLDEN JEFFREY, who never saw another rival at Ayr in February after a pipe-opener at Catterick – he can make all again here. Drums Of War needs to learn to settle but Hexham runner-up French Ticket may be open to some improvement and has more scope than Sense Of Urgency. Lucinda Russell’s newcomer Mighty Thunder is a half-brother to a useful hurdler/chaser in Ireland but may need the experience.
