In depth

Verdict

Emirate Isle gained a shock success at Catterick on just his third start over fences but has been raised 8lb which won't aid his cause. Sergeant Pink had four lengths to spare over GLEANN NA NDOCHAIS at Ayr ten days ago but the runner-up has more scope and, at the revised weights, can take his revenge and gain his first success over fences on just his third start. Topo Gigio showed little in Ireland and finished runner-up in a selling hurdle at Catterick last time while the remaining pair have been running poorly.
