      Verdict

      Tim Vaughan has been among the winners lately and his THELIGNY is fancied to overcome an absence to open his account here. Richard Johnson rides the grey, who wasn't beaten far at either Plumpton or Leicester at the backend of last year. Grexit has only run one bad race so far over timber and should be thereabouts again while Irish import Derintoher Yank will have had plenty of schooling since arriving at Donald McCain's yard and was second in a Cork bumper in July.
