Verdict
The shortlist here consists of Britannic, Gringo and Storm Prospect, with the selection being Storm Prospect. As a piece of form, Britannic's third in a Group 3 race to subsequent Arc winner Rail Link last June stands out so the market should provide plenty of clues as to how far the colt has fallen since then. Abstract Folly made improvement from his first run to finish second to Folk Tune at Wetherby last time and has to be given a chance. Diamonds And Dust has shown some ability in two starts, while Gringo has already won over hurdles and, having achieved a rating of 113, has to be considered a leading player today. Another to consider is Lindseyfield Lodge, who has shown promise in bumpers, and Storm Prospect, who is already a winner and whose current official rating of 115 is the best of the field. That type of profile has led to us making him the selection.
