In depth
Verdict
Deep Resolve won on the Flat earlier this month but his ability to handle this much quicker ground has to be taken on trust. It's more than two years since Irish raider Lisbon last ran over hurdles while Oliver's Gold continues to look in the handicapper's grip and Makethedifference carries a penalty for his victory at Perth. Cooking Fat should have improved for his run at Sedgefield and still has some scope so makes more appeal than Changing The Guard and Franciscan but CAPTAIN BROWN's win at Cartmel will have boosted his confidence and he can follow up with the quicker going not expected to bother him.
