Verdict
TOP NOTCH is clear of the opposition on today's terms. A disappointment in the Relkeel at Cheltenham last time, he was second in the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth at Newcastle before that and is the one to beat with a similar effort. Recent Wetherby winner One For Harry and Croco Bay share the same handicap rating but the latter's placed effort behind Simply Ned here in October looks the stronger form and Ben Case's charge is also preferred to Chic Name, a runner-up in a juvenile hurdle at Chepstow last time.
