In depth

Verdict

Definitely Glad has had plenty of chances and lacks the scope of Carrigeen Lantana, third in bumpers at Market Rasen and Bangor and a winner between the flags, and Bennylicious. The latter was third at Perth in May on his racecourse debut. SPECIAL WELLS is a full brother to two winning jumpers and half-brother to another. He made a promising start at Wetherby in March and was then a close-up fourth in a Class 3 NH Flat race at Ayr in April when Azure Glamour and Seldom Inn were well beaten. A switch to hurdles should bring about further improvement.
