      In depth

      Verdict

A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Dundock, Triple Deal and The Gleaner and the vote is given to Dundock. The selection was a good second behind Roccas Boy on his debut. He looks sure to improve and under similar conditions here he is impossible to oppose. Triple Deal rates the main danger on his latest fifth behind Alfie Flits as that form has since been franked but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. The Gleaner was a fair third ion his debut behind Stagecoach Opal and is another that is sure to improve so should be noted in the market. Of the remainder The Saltire Tiger showed a modicum of ability on his debut but is another that gives the impression he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip and for the winner we return to Dundock.
