Verdict
This doesn't look to be the greatest of contests but there are plenty of ifs buts and maybes for punters to puzzle over. Sue Bradburne trains top-weight Bodfari Signet. He does possess a turn of foot but the handicapper surely has his measure off a mark of 105. It would be unusual to see Peter Monteith without a winner at a Scottish meeting and Ambushed is his representative. His form is over the trip and it is likely that he will be held up for a late run. On the negative side however, he did finish lame last time out. Radar returns to hurdling after a miserable spell over the larger obstacles. Gargoyle Girl has been a busy lady over both codes but her form is little better than plating class over the sticks. The TEAMtalk selection is Workaway. He showed glimpses of ability over a longer trip at Hexham and if he settles early, he could be a snip off his current mark of 86.
