Verdict

OUR JOEY has his first run away from Perth and is also making his hurdling debut but he looked a decent prospect when beating a previous winner, among others, in a bumper last month and may enjoy a fitness advantage over One For Hocky, whose victory in a Newcastle bumper in March hasn't really worked out. Deise Dynamo was second in a Tallow point-to-point in February and is now with a yard that has done well with similar types. He may have more scope than Castlelawn and Edmund while Rocking Blues may need this.
