Verdict

Nicky Richards bids for a hat-trick of victories in this with IMADA, who is penalised for making a winning start at Ayr in November. But he had a subsequent winner well back in third and that looks stronger form than Big River's second at Newcastle last month. Shotofwine proved disappointing at Catterick recently but it's too soon to write him off given he ran well when runner-up at Aintree before that while the newcomers Monfass and Gully's Edge are both worth noting.
