    Verdict

Donald McCain is the leading trainer here and it will be interesting to see if there is any money for Keeneland following a pipe-opener at Sedgefield. Captain Brown was second over course and distance in October but has a poor strike-rate. War Lord won at Sedgefield on only his second start over hurdles but that was in October and he hasn't been seen since. SPITZ should do better now going handicapping as he was third over track and trip in a maiden hurdle in the autumn and doesn't look badly treated on that form. Musselburgh fourth Trust Thomas looks the pick of the remainder.
