Verdict
Presumptuous and Dragon Prince are unexposed but Rayshan has an obvious chance and is difficult to oppose. The selection was useful on the flat with John Oxx and made a winning start to his new career with Howard Johnson when landing a novices' hurdle at Musselburgh last month by 11 lengths from Humid Climate. The son of Darshaan missed Cheltenham and it will be interesting to see where connections send the four-year-old after this. Sue Smith's Presumptuous made an encouraging start to his hurdling career when chasing home Pilgrims Progress at Bangor earlier this month. He makes marginally more appeal than Dragon Prince. Richard Guest's gelding has yet to race over hurdles and, while he has never raced beyond seven furlongs, there is plenty of stamina in his pedigree so he should stay. Diva Dancer showed signs of ability on his debut and may run into a place but Rayshan holds solid claims and gets a confident vote.
