In depth
Verdict
Unsurprisingly, ROLECARR found the company too hot at Newcastle last time but Ann Hamilton's charge hasn't raced in this grade since beating the useful Lively Baron at Hexham more than a year ago and can give the weight to Or de Grugy. The latter is on a hat-trick after wins here and at Musselburgh and has scored off higher marks than this in the past, though might need a quicker surface nowadays. All four of Super Ally's victories have come here but he is still 6lb higher than in the last of those, in March, and Oil Burner disappointed at Carlisle last time. Classic Cut is still on the comeback trail.
