In depth

Verdict

Sacre Toi has won twice here over fences but stopped quickly over hurdles at Hexham last time, though could benefit from Brian Hughes taking over the reins. Bogside has only gone up 6lb for a recent course and distance win and should figure but Rhymers Ha' is proving difficult to place and Granaruid was rather gifted an amateur riders' handicap at Carlisle four weeks ago. Captain Brown has claims on the pick of his form but FUNKY MUNKY is probably the pick of the weights having shown improved form to win an all-weather handicap just over two weeks ago. He appears to handle any type of going.
