Verdict
DAKOTA GREY showed a big improvement when runner-up at Wetherby on his reappearance. Micky Hammond's charge finished a long way in front of a previous winner and is just preferred to Takingrisks. The latter also posted a better effort last time when placed at Carlisle well ahead of the disappointing Egret and should go close in this. Point-to-point winner Mahler Lad goes hurdling for the first time and Flemensfirthleader makes his debut under Rules.
