Verdict

Goldencard wasn’t beaten far chasing a hat-trick at Sedgefield but has been raised a further 7lb and has to give 5lb to COMMIS D’OFFICE. The latter forms part of a strong raiding party from the Venetia Williams yard today and another summer on his back will have done him no harm. Clan Legend and Vengeur De Guye are high enough in the weights at present but both are course and distance winners so are respected.
