    Verdict

Summer Thunder takes a big step-up in trip after attempting to make all over 6f at Lingfield. She started odds-on that day but faded after building a big lead and will need to be ridden with more restraint. Freebe Rocks has done well since stepping-up in trip and switching to the all-weather though a 4lb rise looks a bit harsh. BARNAY had his first four starts at Lingfield where he only showed moderate ability but it was a different matter here last week where he was only beaten a length in a better class handicap. He'll be very difficult to beat in that kind of form but Bill Cody has been racing over 1m2f and didn't look too happy over this trip earlier.
