Adare Prince is in good form at present and has definite claims here but preference is for Rowley Hill in a weak handicap chase for the track. The selection comes from the Alan King yard and has conditions and trip to suit here. He also races off a mark from which he is capable of giving his true running and that may be enough to take this. Adare Prince was soundly beaten when tackling this trip last time and is perhaps better over shorter and also with cut in the ground. He has never been tried on good before, so has to prove he handles it. Ballybough Jack will appreciate the return to a sound surface and he has probably not been done any favours by the handicapper from the word go. He is on a reasonable mark now and should go well. Alpha Gamble has ability but is inconsistent, Charlies Double look weighted up to the hilt and Gunship would prefer some juice. There are questions to be answered by all involved and Rowley Hill can provide the right answer.
