Verdict

A very good turnout for the money and it offers WAVING a chance to get back to winning ways. Tony Carroll's charge completed a five-timer in lower grade contests including when carrying a massive weight at Dundalk. He found 2m1f stretching his stamina at Wolverhampton last time but was travelling well at this trip and Joey Haynes' claim will help. Swift Gold was completing a hat-trick when holding off Sporting Gold by the narrowest margin here last month and though the runner-up was returning from a break the winner was just doing enough and can confirm the form. Incendo easily landed a claimer at Lingfield on Friday and has generally competed at a higher level while winning bumper and hurdler Devon Drum makes his handicap debut from what could prove a lenient mark.
