        Verdict

        STRING THEORY finished third in a blanket finish to the Wood Ditton at Newmarket last month. Plenty of winners usually come out of that contest and Marco Botti's charge should be up to landing this. Coolmore are involved in the ownership of Lucanin and he's been persevered with after finishing fourth at Sandown last May but Duke Of Perth will probably be better for this seasonal reappearance. The selection's stablemate, Reminisce, is related to winning sprinters and fellow newcomers Al Baahi and Bravestar are others to note but Mutanaweb makes most appeal of the debutants. He cost 200,000gns and is a half-brother to Prix de L'Abbaye winner Total Gallery among others.
