In depth

Verdict

A wide-open handicap gets proceedings underway and there is very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Bolton Hall, Out For A Stroll and Chief Exec and the vote is given to Bolton Hall. The selection was a fair second behind Sam's Secret last time out, remains well weighted on his best form and with his yard continuing in good order he looks the one to be on. Out For A Stroll rates the main danger on his latest fifth behind Archiestown. He has won off a higher mark in the past and as the race looks sure to be run to suit he will not be far away. Chief Exec is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Encores but his best form of late has come over a longer trip and he is taken on with this in mind. Colinca's Lad is another with place claims on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence. October Ben is from a yard in form but looks weighted up to his best and with this in mind for the winner we return to Bolton Hall who looks sure to run his race.
