Francisco Bay and Willkommen dead-heated for first over track and trip in June but the latter has been beaten in both subsequent starts. Settle Petal failed in a bid for a hat-trick at Windsor and is upped a further 3lb while Swooping Eagle looks no nearer winning. The betting suggested RODRIGO DIAZ would improve for the step up to 1m4f at Lingfield and he duly returned a ready winner. There looks plenty more to come and he can defy a 7lb rise.
