Verdict

Crystal Rock may be better suited by a return to racing on a sound surface whilst Dean's Grange should appreciate this return to handicap company following a couple of stiff tasks but this looks to be a reasonable opportunity for QUETZAL to open his account. Alan King's charge showed ability in bumpers but didn't threaten over obstacles until making the frame in a weak affair on his final start; his initial handicap mark is workable as a result and he may be able to progress this season. Trump Call needs a market check as does Mark Of Love who has been given every chance by the handicapper as he returns from injury for a new yard. Mayberry and Society Venue also have claims and are closely matched on their running at Wincanton.
