Verdict
lhabela Fact has returned a losing favourite the last twice now though was beaten only a neck over 1m3f here last time with Make Good well behind. Houlton was successful over 1m5f at Chelmsford in November but is 6lb higher on his return while Rubensian finished runner-up over a shorter trip at Wolverhampton in December. Emerald Rocket has switched yards since last in action in October but has won twice at Newcastle in three starts on the all-weather while Continuum showed signs of a return to form with a second over 1m4f here last time head of third-placed SUBLIMINAL. But that was the latter’s first start in a handicap and, with plenty of scope for further progress, Simon Dow’s charge gets the vote.
