    Verdict

Dark Side Thunder has been in good form at Southwell and races on the Polytrack for the first time raised a further 6lb. ESKEN ROSE attempted to keep up with the early pace over the minimum trip at Pontefract but paid the price in the closing stages and will appreciate the return to her winning distance as she debuts on the all-weather. Rattling also steps back up in trip having returned a losing favourite at Wolverhampton while Peggoty won a maiden race at Chelmsford and Gidwa and Bethersden Boy have been in the mix over 7f.
