Verdict

Several have already been beaten carrying a penalty for earlier wins. That list includes Isle of Wolves, who struggled over a mile last time having won over today’s trip at Lingfield on his debut. Over The Guns has won over 6f and first-time headgear is applied after returning a losing favourite at Leicester while maiden winner Rosamour has placed in both subsequent starts. It remains to be seen how ANYCITY copes penalised for making a winning start at Chelmsford but Archie Watson’s charge made every yard over the mile trip and should have enough pace over today’s 7f. Castle Quarter and The Dancing Poet are preferred of the remainder.
