Verdict
COURIER had been running well on the track before her second to Le Ronquin last month and, though beaten six lengths, the winner has been raised a stone and went on to defy a penalty. Charlotte Jenner was on board that day and can help Lee Carter's filly to her first victory despite dropping down in trip. Total Demolition showed very good pace in the same event before fading and should do better over this shorter trip. Alpha Spirit was a 50/1 chance when running quite well in a better race than this at Lingfield last time and Equilicious was the same price in a 6f maiden there where she showed her first sign of ability. Happy Pursuit showed nothing in three starts on Turf but was well supported on her handicap debut at Wolverhampton and did better so she should make further progress and get involved.
