Verdict

HIGHLAND AVENUE may prove up to this level judged on the ease of a maiden win over track and trip. The Godolphin grey beat a subsequent winner over five lengths on that occasion and the Irish Derby entry should make a bold bid. Apollo One comes out best at the weights though has yet to race over this far and the progressive Oo De Lally makes more appeal with Ryan Moore on board. Alto Volante is a novice winner at Wolverhampton and is preferred to Albadri, who represents last year’s winning yard, but Sergeant Tibbs has plenty to find with the selection on collateral form and Bodroy may struggle on such unfavourable terms.
