Verdict
There's little in the decision but we've opted for FLEETING ECHO ahead of Libertino and Khanivorous. Of the newcomers, Sapphire Spirit and Dixi Heights both make some appeal on paper as both are related to juvenile winners and the market will be worth watching. I'malwaysright and Duke Of Rainford may improve now fitted with various applications but this could go to one of the three on the short-list providing that they make normal improvement from their debuts. Khanivorous ate up the ground late on after a slow start but without troubling the leaders. He was well backed that day and could reverse the placings with I'malwaysright. Libertino represents the yard responsible for last year's winner and their runners often find considerable improvement with experience. He's not ideally drawn but neither is Fleeting Echo although a quick start can negate that setback and Richard Hughes rides this track particularly well. She failed to feature after a slow start at Sandown but should be wiser and Fleeting Echo can be expected to be involved in the shake-up.
