    Verdict

Murau won over track and trip in June while Dance To Paris scored at Lingfield with Vin Rouge running below par and well beaten. Smart Champion won over today’s trip at Beverley while last year’s winner VINO VICTRIX went close again over course and distance last time. The latter drops down a grade for this and can go one better. Amalfi Bay has been thereabouts lately but was only fourth on a previous attempt over this longer trip.
